Parents are invited to attend an evening of information and connection at the 4th annual ICSD Gifted Parent Education Night. The informational evening is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Oct. 16, in the district office board room, 2077 W. Royal Hunte Drive.

The event is designed to help families better understand the unique academic and social-emotional needs of advanced learners while providing practical strategies they can use at home. Parents will explore ways to encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and independence through meaningful conversations and everyday learning opportunities. Participants will leave with practical strategies to support their child's growth at home, including simple ways to incorporate elements of the Depth & Complexity Framework to foster creative and critical thinking while strengthening the home-school partnership.

Even if your child has not been formally identified as "gifted" please attend as this information will benefit most parents.

Thank you Screeguys LLC for putting on an excellent presentation about having a Healthy Relationship with Technology.

We learned how to handle social media the right way, why we should restrict smartphone access, and how to cut down screen time.

7 Seconds! Put your phone down and tell those around you YOU LOVE THEM!
